Varnika Kundu (IN)

Varnika Kundu has been a DJ for over three years, during which she has held a one and a half year residency at The Girl in the Cafe, a lounge in Chandigarh, and has performed at numerous gigs around the country. Her inspiration stems from varied artists, ranging from Deadmau5 to The Doors, from Beethoven to The Beatles. While the genres she enjoys playing the most are big room and electro house, she also loves to experiment with progressive house, tech, dubstep, drum'n'bass, moombahton, and even rock.

Varnika has performed in a number of different settings so far. The headlining act at the Chalo Music Festival, and Ruff Sound System(RSS), Chandigarh, alongside Dub Sharma in both cases, she also opened for Humble The Poet's maiden India gig at The S Lounge, Chandigarh.

In 2012, she was invited to play at BPM, UK – the world’s largest event dedicated to DJing and EDM production. The following year Varnika performed alongside the Nooran Sisters at the HT Youth Forum. She has also performed at clubs such as Martinique (Freudenstadt, Germany), Raasta (Hauz Khas, Delhi), The Living Room (Hauz Khas, Delhi), Halfway House (Greater Kailash, Delhi), Club Qba (Connaught Place, Delhi), etc. Earlier this year, Varnika was the in house DJ at the Musikon EDM Festival, Manali.
